The Savin and Norwood Scales

Both are helpful tools for hair professionals to diagnose and treat hair loss in patients, consisting of seven stages (or types) that illustrate the different levels of hair loss. Different stages of male hair loss are seen in the Norwood scale, while female hair loss is categorised on the Savin scale.
